nRF9160 supply voltage and SIM card

Hello everyone,

I would like to know, if the nRF9160 module can operate using a supply voltage which ranges from 2V to 2.2V.

Furthermore, Can I install a different SIM card ie. Antritsu rather than iBasis?

When will the nRF9160 support NB-IoT? Because according to the below link, it seems that NB-IoT software is not supported yet.

Hi,

 

See the recommended operating conditions, nRF9160 supports 3.0 V - 5.5 V supply. 2-2.2V is not supported.

 

Yes, you can use other SIM cards than iBasis.

 

For NB-IoT availability you might contact your RSM, however as the blog post to which you link states, public sampling is scheduled for March 31st.
