Xiaomi Mi Portable Mouse (Bluetooth Compatibility - Nordic 51822)

Dear Developers and Members of the Forum

I have an Apple Macbook 6.1 (Late 2009) that has a built in Bluetooth Chip (Broadcom 2.1+EDR) and I want to use Xiaomi Mi Portable Mouse that has a built in chip (Nordic 51822) with bluetooth 4.2 .

Does anyone knows if those products are compatible, concerning bluetooth connectivity?

Hey,

As far as I know, nrf51822 doesn't support Bluetooth v2.1. It only supports Bluetooth Low Energy. So they won't be compatible.

Ashish is correct. The nRF5x series are not compatible with Bluetooth versions older than 4.0.
