UART sending only one character in mesh beaconing application

Hi,

I'm using nRF52832, nRF5 SDK 15.2 and Mesh SDK 3 .I have successfully integrated the UART module from nRF5 SDK / examples / peripheral /uart  in the beaconing example of the nRF Mesh SDK version 3, without errors it is compiling and working also but it sending only one character,i'm unable to find what is the problem, below is my uart code snippet

for receiving the data i'm using tera term application in PC, in that it is receiving only one character that is 'R' from the printf() statement.

TX and RX buffer sizes are

I'm using app_uart_fifo.c only.

i have gone through the cases in the devzone but i didn't get the proper solution for my problem. Can you please help in solving this problem.

Hi,

• Is HWFC enabled in your application, and do the settings in the terminal correspond to that of the application?
• Is the application working as expected in other aspects than UART? If no, have you tried debugging the application to see if there are any error codes causing it to fail?

Are you building using the Segger project? I had to fix some errors to make it compile, but after that I'm not able to reproduce your issue.

Yes,I'm using segger embedded studio for building the project,what are the errors that you have fixed but for me it compiled without any errors.

I had to add the path to app_uart.h to the project settings (maybe you hardcoded these?), and disable NRFX_UART_ENABLED /NRFX_UARTE_ENABLED in sdk_config.h due to a multiple define of the UART0_UARTE0_IRQ_Handler.

Did you manage to get it working with the project I provided?

Have you modified anything in the Mesh SDK or SDK v15.2.0? Please try with a fresh extracted copy of both SDK and see if you are able to build the example.

I have added the UART project( .c and .h files) which are present in the SDK v15.2.0 to the Mesh SDK v3.0 beaconing example and i have included the file paths also in the project,those modifications only i did..

which IDE you are using? Segger embedded studio or any other for building the project

As you suggested i will try to build the project  with fresh SDK's by making changes that you have mentioned above.

I used SES to build. If you have clean SDK, you should not need to make any modifications. Just extract the zip-file I uploaded in examples directory of Mesh SDK, open the nrf52832 project, and build.
