nRF52840 CDC ACM COM port not appearing.

Hi all,

I've compiled the SDK15.2 USBD CDC ACM example and uploaded it onto a Rigado BDM340 evaluation board, and run a second USB cable to the nRF USB socket. However, I am not seeing a USB port in Windows 10 Device Manager for the nRF52840 USB virtual COM port.

Any suggestions would be welcome!

Hi,

The only thing I found in the Rigado user guide about the USB was this:

"6.1.2 USB Peripheral PowerVBUS Power from the USB Peripheral interface on the BMD-340 may be used to power the BMD-340-EVALby moving SW7 to the “HV” setting. This enablesthe internal high-voltage regulator (LDO or DC-DC).When inthe HV setting, the power switch SW6 should be left in the OFF position, especially if any of the protection diodes are bypassed. 

"

If setting SW7 to HV does not work either, I suggest that you contact Rigado support.
