do we have to apply override when using a softmodul

Hello,

I'm currently seeking for parameters that could improve our ANT communication stability. I read, that there are possibly override parameters in the FIRC that have to be applied during device configuration. Is this also true, if we use a softdevice (or does the softdevice this)?

How large could be the difference between not applying the parameters and applying the parameters? Is this "just" fine tuning, or essential for a proper working radio? Are there further interesting readings about the topic?

If you use a softdevice, this is done by the softdevice and you don't have to think about it. It's for fine tuning the radio, so the radio will work just fine without them as well.
