RTOS for Medical devices

Hi,

My startup company is developing a class 2 (USFDA) medical device and we want to use Nordic's NRF52832 microcontroller. My question is:

Which is the lowest cost RTOS (both license and royalty) available right now for NRF52 in the market which we can use with our QMS and apply for USFDA?

Inputs from the NRF team will be highly appreciated.

Hi,

In the nRF SDK most examples don't use an RTOS, however there are a few examples that include FreeRTOS:

Other than that we don't have any RTOS examples.

Currently Zephyr RTOS is not part of Nordic SDK, but I expect this will change in near future.
