How can I know the SDK version of nRF52832 source code?

Hi,

If I have a nRF52832 project source code, how can I know it's SDK version?

When I try to open xxx.uvprojx by Keil 5.24.2, Keil reply one message "Error #544: Required Software Pack 'NordicSemiconductor.nRF_DeviceFamilyPack.8.12.0' is not installed".

Can I know SDK version from above clue?

The place where you obtained it should be able to tell you that.

In your answer, SDK 13.0.0 should use SoftDevice 4.0.2.

But I can not found SD 4.0.2 in "https://www.nordicsemi.com/Software-and-Tools/Software/S132/Download#infotabs".

Can I use other SD version for SDK 13.0.0?

Again, where did you obtain this project? Can't they help you with it?

Is it really worth the effort - or would it be better to use an up-to-date SDK ... ?

Isn't the SoftDevice included in the SDK download?

In the SDK v15.0.0, they were in components\softdevice ...

You can find the SoftDevice in the folder SDK_folder\components\softdevice\s132\hex

I am modify ".\nRF5_SDK_13.0.0_04a0bfd\examples\ble_peripheral\ble_app_uart" for my project now.

After "nRF-UART" connect to my device, the device will send data to nrf_UART every 5 seconds.

Would you please tell me how to modify source code, if I want the device send data to nRF_UART every 1 sec?

Your original question - and the subject title of this thread - has been answered. So please verify the answer:

The question about your code is unrelated - so please start a new thread for the new question.

But, again, why are you using the old SDK?

As you're just starting out, why not start with the current SDK?

Starting from the current SDK will make your life much easier, and make it easier for others to help you.
