How many pipestatusevents will be returned?

I am trying to connect and according to the spec sheet, there might be multiple pipestatusevents. 

When I try to connect using different phones (with different Bluetooth, I presume), I am getting a different number of returns. I am still new to the concept, so I am not sure if there is some way for me to know how many returns I am supposed to get when I use Connect (0x0F).

The number of PipeStatusEvents will depend on what the peer device does. If you successfully enable notifications/indications from the peer or the peer enables notifictions/indication from you, there will be a PipeStatusEvent.
