How put nrf51822 in power save mode

Hi 

I am using nrf51822 chip to develop my application & I need to put the hardware into sleep. In which all the gpios & other peripheral goes stop to save power. 

SO, how do I develop the same in my code and which function may I call in my code to develop the same.

The same guidelines should apply for the nRF51-series, even though for new development I recommend to check out the nRF52-series.
