what is the cli mean in sdk example project?

recently, I learn how to use the nrf52832 soc in pca10040 board, and want to use the sdk5_15.2.0 to test all the examples project from "peripheral" to "ble_peripheral".

but there are many difficulties to use the demos, one: there is almost have no doc to specify what the all projects to accomplish specified functions

two:there is no doc to specify how to use the SDK projects with the PCA10040 board, (including hardware and software usage),it takes me much time to try to find out how to use the examples in board.

for example, i do not know what is the "cli" project do, the same as "experimental_libuarte" and so on.

could anyone to tell me where to get start to learn the dev board using the sdk.

CLI - command line interface. It is like a shell.
