NRF52840_PCA10056: can this kit support keep a connection with smartphone and perform periodical advertising?

Hi there, 

I have a question NRF52840_PCA10056 and its SDK is latest nRF5 SDK. 

The scenario is below:

• The NRF52840_PCA10056 build a connection with a smartphone like iPhone/Android over Coded PHY. 
• After connection established, can this LAUNCHXL kit perform periodical advertising as a scanner to receive AUX_SYNC_IND from an Advertiser over 1M Uncoded PHY?

Our S140 SOftDevice for the nRF52840 does not support periodic advertisement, nor syncing to periodic advertisers.

A further question, is there any Nordic SDK/Chip which supports periodical advertising?

Hi Kren, 

we have not added support for Periodic advertising in our SoftDevices, so currently there is no Nordic SW support for this.

as far as I know we do not plan on supporting periodic advertising with our SoftDevices in the upcoming releases.
