Provisioning is inconsistent with nRF mesh mobile in both Android and iPhone

Hi, I'm using nRF52832 with SDK 15.2 and 3.0 (Mesh). when I try to provision 2 or 3 client/servers the nRF Mesh application behaving properly which means provisioning is happening successfully. If I try to provision more than 5 devices the provisioning process is stopping in the middle at the progress level of 87% or 91%, it is not going further and also there is no option available to reset the device.

 

Can anyone please tell me why the mesh application is behaving like this?

Hi.

I've tried provisioning several devices using the nRF Mesh app without any issues.

Are you using the latest version of the nRF Mesh app?
Are you provisioning one of the unmodified examples in the SDK?

Do you see the same behaviour on both iOS and Android?

Hi Joakim,

Yes, I'm using the latest nRF Mesh app in both ios & android and observed the same behavior.

I did some modifications in mesh SDK examples in such a way that it will send some data instead of on/off value.

I don't think these changes will affect the provisioning process because up to 3 or 4 devices it is provisioning correctly without any interrupt.

I think you are correct. Just getting an overview of your setup. 

Can you please press the "View Log" and upload that here, so that we can take a look at where it hangs?

Hi Joakim, sorry for the late reply.

Below are the logs I got while provisioning got aborted.

and I just want to know

1.what are the things that affect the provisioning process other than model ID's, Opcodes and authentication data for the SIG models?

2. Can nRF Mesh mobile application able provision the vendor-specific models if not what are all the things I should follow to create and provision the vendor-specific model?

Your issue has been reported to our developers, and they will have a look if this is anything related with the nRF Mesh app.

Yes, the nRF Mesh mobile application supports provisioning any node, even with vendor-specific models.
