Switching between central and peripheral role.

Hi, 

I want to make device that can switch between central and peripheral role on NRF52810.

I am using S132 and nrf SDK 14.2.0.

Can I change the roles with button and some basic stop/start functions?

I am trying to base on: ...nrf5_SDK_14_2_0\nRF5\examples\ble_central_and_peripheral\experimental\ble_app_multirole_lesc

but I cannot compile project because file uECC.h is missing, why?

Hi,

uECC is a an external library that can be downloaded from Github here. The DFU guide explains how the library can be added to the SDK.  Be aware that the nRF52810 might not have enough memory to run your application, I would recommend using nRF52832 or nRF52840 if it's the case.

We will probably base our master project on nRF52832 and Eclipse IDE.

Which project with multirole is best for me to base on?

How would You handle enabling/disabling roles? I need to advertise only some time after button is pressed.

Hi,

The BLE Relay Example is a project I would recommend for understanding how to implement the advertising and central role simultaneously. The advertising duration is decided by the  #APP_ADV_DURATION definition.  You can start the advertising once the button is pressed by calling ble_advertising_start in the button callback handler.
