Welcome to DevZone, and the world of Nordic Semiconductor! In our documentation library, you will find all resources needed about your device, development kit and software tools. Most importantly is the documentation of our SDK and SoftDevice. Firstly I suggest starting to read up on the many Tutorials we have, and the Getting Started Guide for the nRF5 SDK. 

To get you started with installing GCC (written for Windows, but has links for download, and a good description), have a look at this tutorial.
