NRF52840dk BLE with android will not connect after the first pairing

Hello, I have read multiple postings on this problem about how you have to "forget" the MCU on your android to reconnect through Bluetooth. This does not fix the problem at hand as I believe this to be a C code software problem. I am using a Samsung Galaxy s7 with Bluetooth version 4.2. I am using nRF5_SDK_15.2.0_9412b96 SDK version of Bluetooth code, and every BLE peripheral example I use has this same problem. When connecting the DK through an Apple device this problem disappears. I am hoping someone can help me fix this problem.

Hi,

Are you having the same problem with every example? What version of the nRF Connect app are you using? Could you attach the log output on both the phone side and the nRF?

Make sure you have erased old bonds on each side. In the nRF side, run "nrfjprog --eraseall" and on the phone side "Delete bond information" on the nRF Connect app.
