Hello,
1. Is there DK (development board) for the part nRF52811 (I need this part for direction finding, version 5.1)?

As awneil has noted the reccomended board doesn't have the nRF52811, so I'd like to echo the question.
When will there be a development kit with the nRF52811 made available, that can be used for playing around with the direction finding in BT5.1? At some time in the future when the following gets rolled out perhaps?
"The full capabilities of the SoC, including Bluetooth 5.1 Direction Finding, Bluetooth 5 Long Range, 802.15.4, Thread and Zigbee, will be made available through software releases during 2019"
We're working on a white paper and reference design, but I do not know when it will be ready. I'd guess Q3 at the earliest.

Thank you for your guess! I'm looking forward to see your hard work bearing fruit!
Hopefully it'll come later and be better rather than it comming earlier and buggier. :)
Thanks Eric^^
Any update on the progress of the nRF52811 dev board?
Hey Nordic,
Any idea on when the nRF52811-DK board (PCA10068) will be made available to the wider development community?
It won't, but you can use the nRF52833DK instead. You'll have to reduce the flash and ram sizes for the target device, and there's a fewer peripheral instances here and there, but other than that it should be as if you're on a nRF52811. Effectively doing the reverse of this chapter Transferring the project to nRF52811 hardware, but use the nRF52833 instead of the nRF52840 as the target.
