Importing Keil uVision project to Segger

I am using the nRF51422 development kit with the SDK 11.  I am trying to run the proximity application located in ble_peripherals.  When the project is build I am receiving the following error message: " Code size of this image exceeds the maximum allowed for this version of the linker".  I believe I can solve this issue by importing this project into Segger Embedded Studio.  How may I accomplish this?  Thank you.

Hi,

You may use the example that I uploaded here and use it as a starting point for your project. Alternatively, follow the steps to import an existing Keil project as outlined in this tutorial (link). Warning, the tutorial might not be up to date with more recent SES versions.

Hello thank you for your response.  I am having an issue following the example you've given.  On the final step it requires me to right click the project name and select "Import Section Placement".  When I right click the project name I do not receive "Import Section Placement" as an option.  I am using SES 4.12

Have you changed the Linker option to GNU (step 7b)?

Yes I have done this.  The error I am getting when run the program is "'init' will not fit in region "UNPLACED_SECTIONS"".  I am still not receiving and option to "Import Section Placement"
