Configuring a specific ADC channel differently or PSELN

Hey,

I have PSELP of the ADC configured to read 4 values. now I want to configure an ADC channel differently than the excising 4 channels. So can I configure the 5th channel in PSELP differently or can I use PSELN and configure it differently? How can I achieve such thing since the block diagram of the adc suggests that both PSELP and PSELN share the same configuration block.

This is the configuration of my adc now:

This attachment is not much useful but this is what i have for the adc configuration.

Also something else, instead of referring to the value in the buffer when reading the adc, can i refer to CH[x]? as seen below:

Hi,

You can configure each channel differently. PSELN should be used when you want to measure negative values or you use differential measurement. 

I don't think i understand the question, but see the product specification on how to read the values from the ADC.
