What's softdevice for nrf52811 to do Coded Phy scanner ?

Hi All,

We're designing Legacy/Coded Phy scanner based on nrf52811.

The existing softdevice that supports Coded Phy scanner is S140.

Can nrf52811 work with S140 or Nordic will release optimized new softdevice of nrf52811 for Coded Phy scanner ?

As noted in a number of recent threads, the support - both HW and SW -  for nRF52811 is severely lacking at the moment; eg,

As awneil says, currently only the S112 softdevice is supported by the nRF52811, and this softdevice, which was originally made for the nRF52810 doesn't support long range/Coded Phy.

So at this point in time, it is not possible, but if you want to start testing, you can do so with the S140 softdevice on an nRF52840 DK.

Given that there is basically no support yet for the nRF52811, it would be helpful if Nordic could give some indication of which features of which of the others parts can be used for "getting started".

Probably not a very satisfying answer, but I don't know more than what this site says:

I guess it isn't fully decided yet. We try to support as much as possible, but there will be some limitations, due to the flash and RAM size. The best guide I can give is the Product Brief:
