Can Long range feature run in ANT?

Hi team,

One of my customer is evaluating nRF52840 running ANT networking, but they may encounter with connection distance issue and wondering if they can combine BT5 long range feature & ANT together, their data bandwidth is less than 20 Bytes per 1s, HW platform is nRF52840. Not sure if it is still qualified ANT? If still qualified, any suggestion how customer can combine Long Range feature in ANT?

Hi Leon,

There is no long range (LR) feature in ANT, so to increase range in ANT you will need to add a PA/LNA or look at antenna design.
