Possible low cost SOC options for using 802.15.4 only

Hello and thanks for your help,

We are looking forward to build a low cost and power wireless application using 802.15.4. We do not need any other protocols.

Am i right that using BLE SOCs with 2.4GHz proprietary it is not possible because of different modulation types and different baud rate?

From what i can find on the product pages the only option is the nRF52840. For nRF52811 there is currently no software support?

You can go for LoRa WAN...

15.4 is currently only supported with the nRF52840 and nRF52811. The latter will be the low cost solution. We have just launched this device and as you have seem, FW isn't quite finished yet.

Are we talking about weeks or months till a firmware launch?
