nRF52dk does not show up as a sensor

Hello,

I am using an nRF52dk with no additional hardware, in conjunction with SEGGER Embedded Studio V4.12. I started with an example from nRF5_SDK_15.3.0_59ac345 called: bpwr_tx from the ant_plus folder.

I have downloaded soft device S212-SD-v6.1.1 from THISISANT and I uncommented the line that enables the evaluation key in nrf_sdm.h.

The project builds, and seems to run successfully on nRF52dk (led 1 blinks slowly).

I used a Garmin Edge 520 and Forerunner 235 to scan for sensors, but the board does not show up!

Any advice?

Hi,

You need to set the ANT+ network key in ant_key_manager_config.h.

#define ANT_PLUS_NETWORK_KEY    {0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0}            /**< The ANT+ network key. */ 

You must obtain this key from www.thisisant.com
