Eclipse not working

Eclipse wont run ble_app_buttonless_dfu.  I just get a "No source available" error message, it won't go to the main.c source.  I have created a virtual folder with link to the main.c in the 15.2 project.  The "No source available at 0x00" message seems to come up quite often in Eclipse.

Using GCC and Eclipse.  Using the ble_app_buttonless_dfu code.

Using SDK version 15.2.  Running on Windows 7.   Help!

For any IDE to be able to do source-level debugging, it needs two things:

1. The IDE must know where the source files are;
2. The IDE must have the Debug Information for the executable code.

So have you got all that set up ?

I created a virtual folder with a link to the main.c in the SDK code.  I can see it in the project and it compiles and shows code in C/C++ perspective.
I also created a Debug Configuration.  I have other projects that compile and debug just fine (although Eclipse seems to not load the files occasionally).

I have had very poor response with Eclipse debugging, seems very buggy, now I can't get it to work at all.  It totally could be a configuration issue, I followed the Nordic setup that I found in DevZone

We do not support Eclipse officially. Note that I am not saying it is not possible, but because of many different versions, and setup options (like you are experiencing), this is not something we maintain, and hence do not support.

I suggest you check out Segger Embedded Studio, which is Segger's IDE. It is free to use with Nordic's licence.

Edvin- Thanks, I switched to SES last night at the prompting of another user.  What a difference!  It felt like I was in a constant fight with Eclipse, SES worked perfectly right off!
