nrf51822 timers as counter max speed

Hi,

Does anyone known what the maximum frequency is that the timers can operate on ? I want to count a signal that is 24Mhz while the clock frequency is only 16Mhz. So if the PPI interface is clocked it will probably not work.

Hi

The nRF51822 and its TIMER peripherals run on 16MHz so it can not count anything more than 16MHz.
