nRF9160 GPS can't locate in custom boards

hi, I have nRF9160 SIP based custom boards.

I received GPS firmware from FAE.

We have our bias and antenna can be connected to our custom boards but can't connected to nRF9160DK because of the antenna connector.

Currently 8~9 satellite can be find but El and Az are both 000 and DOP is n/a and Position is INVALID.

nRF9160DK find 12 satellite in "nRF9160 GPS Demo Pack User Guide V11.pdf"

I think the problem will be the same even 12 satellite can be find in our custom board.

I want to know the problem is on antenna performance or GPS firmware or I need extra settings?

How can I get the same result as described in "nRF9160 GPS Demo Pack User Guide V11.pdf"

Hi,

 

A cold start can take several minutes before locking properly to satellites.

Given the output and flags, the satellites are tracked (0x01), but not used in positioning (0x02). Have you tried letting the device sit for several minutes?
