system power off

Hi,

I'v try to use the sd_power_system_off() and without successful. The power consumption will be 200~230uA around.

My device:

• Call the system off when ADV._TIMEOUT of the ble_event
• S110 v7.1
• SDK 6.1
• SWDCLK = LOW
• No Any GPIO
• One sense pin with NOPULL
• Disable all interrupts before the sd_power_system_off() and nothing else.

I can wakeup my device by the sense pin. but why the power consumption at 200uA in system power off mode?

Hi,

I got it.

The sense pin with "NOPULL" is the problem cause of current too high in the "power off" mode. When I set the sense pin with the "PULLUP", the problem will be resolved.

What problem I meet with "NOPULL" ?

If you configure a GPIO pin as input you should always specify either high or low pull if this is not done for the circuit that connects to the gpio pin. If there is no pull on the pin then it is floating. When the state of the GPIO pin is in between VDD0.3 and VDD0.7 then the state is undefined. This might cause the chip to occasionally or frequently wake up, therefore causing the high current consumption.

but, why did you use the sense pin with "NOPULL" in the all examples ? and so I need an external pull resistor when I use the "NOPULL", right?
