Antenna recommendation?

Hi, I'm designing based on the Altium files, but I'm not an antenna expert so I would like to know if you have any antenna recommendation for a low profile, because the one on the DK is too big for the final application, what kind of antenna is needed or if is ok just to remove the electronics after the u.fl connector on both cases GPS and cellular.

Unfortunately we do not have any recommendations, you will have to see what is available though distributors or suppliers.

 

Which antenna is suitable for you depends on which bands you intend to be supporting. In general antenna size is proportional with the wavelength of the frequency it supports, if you make the antenna smaller you should expect a drop in performance at lower frequency bands. This is why the DK antenna is rather large.
