As per my understanding, SPP was supported by BT Classic and no more supported in BLE. I have a device, which runs SPP. It has to be connected to the BLE client. I have following queries:
1. In my understanding, there should be some way in BLE to be backward compatible and be able to connect to SPP profile from BT classic. Is that a correct assumption? Please suggest.
2. As per my understanding, all should matter is just GAP connection. A serial port utility on GATT must connect to SPP. The question is, does BLE GAP connects to BT Classic?
I have just begun to work on BLE / BT. Pardon me for my naive queries.
