Mergehex tool for 2 applications not working

Hi ,

 I am trying to merging 2 application hex files for example : usbd_pca10056.hex and ble_app_hts_pca10056_s140.hex using mergehex tool.

I could merge the hex files , then we flashed the combined output.hex file in the Nordic chipset and trying to check functionality output .

We found that USB port able to detect but we are not able to see HTS (Health Thermometer Service) is working according to application merge on the nRFToolbox App on the mobile.

Can somebody worked by merging 2-3 applications and worked all functionalities ?

Not quite sure what you're expecting here?

How do you intend to select between the two applications?

If those two hex files have been built as two independent, standalone applications then you can't just merge the Hex files!

For this to have any chance of working, you would have to build the 2 apps specifically so that they don't overlap at all.

You mean you want to create a single application which combines all the features of the separate ones?

For that, what you need to do is to do the merge at the source level; ie, create a project which builds one application with all the required features.
