Send compressed data for power saving

Hi there,

I need realtime data monitor, but the power consumption is too large when BLE sending data continusly. So I wanna know wheather NRF52832 support package the data received and send them one time, then sleep for a while, package the data again, sleep for a while.....

Yes - you can adjust the Connection Interval, and Slave Latency.

BLE doesn't really send "continuously" anyhow.

Do you mean the ADV_INTERVAL?   My sample rata is 1KHz, how to adjust the adv_interval reasonable?

You can't have both fast data and low power - Ye can'nae break  the laws o' Physics, Captain!

But, just because you're sampling at 1kHz, that doesn't mean that you have to transmit every single sample!

You asked about "compression" - one very simple form of "compression" would be, say, to just transmit the average of ten samples at every tenth sample time.

You need to balance power against performance.
