Issue With Log File Generation Master Control Panel

When I try to generate a log file by clicking Log File... in master control panel. The following error message comes up.

I would like to create a parser for the log file and interpret the data coming off the device. Because I can't create the log file this is development road block.

To open the log file it is required that your system has a valid application associated with .txt extensions.

Also, the log file can be accessed directly, it's located in the folder C:\ProgramData\Nordic Semiconductor\Master Control Panel.
