Using the scheduler with the Application Timer for SDK 11

Hi,

I am using SDK11.

I have looked into scheduler tutorials Tutorial scheduler and looked into the section of "Using the scheduler with the Application Timer", However, the tutorial discusses about updating the sdk_config.h which, I think, was introduced from SDK12 onwards.

Can someone please help me out, how can I use schedule with the application timer in SDK11.

Please note that I am using S132, nrf52832 device, SDK11 on which scheduler and timer need to run concurrently.

Thanks for the pdf version as I could not find that online.

However, I was wrong in assuming that I can't use timer (in interrupt mode) while using scheduler. But I was wrong. I can now run the timer along with the scheduler.

I think the tutorial you sent is to use the timer in threaded mode, am I right?

Yes, that is correct. The purpose of using the scheduler is to have your code execute in the main/thread context, which is the lowest priority. The motivation for executing code in the lowest priority is to not let your code execution block other tasks that need to run with minimum latency(e.g. at higher priority). On the nRF52, you have 5 application interrupt priorities that can be used, see this page. But on the nRF51, it was only 2! See this page.
