nRF52840 Gazell Data Rates - 250kbps Unavailable

Hi there

I have a design in production using Gazell at 250kbs on a NRF51822

I would like to update the design using a nRF52840 but it doesn't support the data rate that we use.

Is there a workaround for this?

Is there a plan to support 250kbps in the future?

Hi Elliott

There are no current plans to add 250kbps support back in, no. 
Because we have similar sensitivity in 1Mbps mode in the nRF52 series the 250kbps mode has little use, other than for backwards compatibility reasons.

That makes my life difficult, I need backwards compatibility to be able to use the nRF52840 as we already have thousands of units in the field that we need to communicate with.
