Possibility of attaching an external antenna to the NRF52840 DK

Hi Nordic,

My team and I are looking to purchase the NRF52840-DK for the purpose of testing long range coded-phy for bluetooth 5.0 applications. We would like to ask if the swf connector on the NRF52840-DK would allow us to connect an external SMA connector. From the data sheet, it seems like the swf connector was designed to be a RF performance probe. Therefore we would like to confirm if the same connector can be used to attach an external antenna before we purchase the board.

If not, could you recommend an alternative development board which could attach to an external antenna while using the official NRF52840 SDK?
