Connection for NRF51822 J-Link base

Hello,

I just bought an nrf51822 evaluation kit and a segger J-link BASE Jtag. I understand that I have to play with the SW4 swith and the U4.

I identified the switch SW4 but not the U4. In other word, even if it is probably quite basic, I don't have any clue where I have to connect my J-link BASE to my NRF51822 EK.

I had look to the nRF51822_Evaluation_Kit User_Guide v1.2-1 and https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/question/21400/nrf51822-and-j-link-base-connections/ but I did not understand what to do with thesse information.

Could you please explain me how/where to connect and use the J-link BASE with the NRF51822 EK board with more details than in these 2 documents I read.

Thanks in advance.

  • Just to make sure, you have a nRF51822-EK and you want to program this with a J-Link Base? Why don't you want to use the Segger J-link lite chip that is already on the nRF51822-EK? You don't need the external J-link base to program the nRF51822-EK. Could you upload a picture of what you have and why you want to use the J-link base to program the nRF51822-EK?
