nrf_log max number of arguments

Hi,

We are using a logger module a lot in our projects to diagnose problems, or warn API users of misuse. Sometimes it would be handy to be able to have nrf_log macros take more than 6 arguments. I know how this macro expands, but I was just wondering why did you choose this implementation? Couldn't you pass variable argument list to a function?

You can extend that by yourself. I changed it to support up to 10 arguments I think and it works ok. It's quite tedious to do it though.

I can't say anything about why it is implemented the way it is.

I was more interested in why it is implemented that way, but thank you anyway!

It was motivated by efficiency. If we would use variable length arguments then it would take almost twice more cycles to log a message.
