programming nRF52810 using debug out on PCA10040

I am trying to program an external board nRF52810 using debug out on PCA10040. I was successfully able to program an external PCB board with nRF52832 using PCA10040,

but when I try to program nRF52810 using the nRFgo studio a simple erase all is not successful.I understand the PCA10040 supports both the SOCs.

Is there anything else additional that needs to be done to be able to program nRF52810 that is different from nRF52832 using 

 PCA10040

Hi

nRFgo Studio is older than the nRF52810 and doesn't "know" that the 810 exists. I think using nrfjprog or nRFConnect Programmer app for Desktop instead would solve your problem, as these are newer.
