which sdk do i need to use for development

I am using nrf51422  dk board in my project. so i need  to use Bluetooth in my project. Could you plz tell me the which version of SDK do i need to use  for this Bluetooth and also plz tell me where can i get the IAR software for development.

nRF5 SDK 12.3 was the last SDK with support for NRF51 devices.

Andy is correct. You can download SDK 12.3, with examples for IAR, GCC and Keil here. Remember to choose the correct SDK version and any SoftDevice you need.

No, that does not follow - nRF51 also supports non-BT protocols.
