Problem!!! DFU support in nRF51822...

Hello All,

I am working on nRF51822 custom board and i am not change it because it is customer requirement. Use IAR embedded workbanch IDE in windows 7. For reference I use nRF51 SDK 8.1.0. 

In this i want to add DFU mode so my question is which packages is support DFU mode? in custom board mdbt40 module use.

So please give me answer of my question as soon as possible.

Hello,

It shouldn't be a problem to implement the bootloader on the mdbt40 module.  You can find documentation for the bootloader in SDK 8.1.0 here: http://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF51_SDK/nRF51_SDK_v8.x.x/doc/8.1.0/s110/html/a00084.html. w 

Since you are using SDK 8 I recommend you to read this blog post (link) to see if you may be impacted by the deprecation of Bluetooth specification v.4.0 and v.4.1.

I am trying to upload ble_app_hrs  with dfu example but in this after connection established enable notification and start dfu with bootloader and than disconnect automatically but not jump in dfu mode it will start advertising not advertise for dfu but advertise hrs application. So give me solution of it.

also tell am i do write way?

Did you remember to program both bootloader and application? Note that the DFU functionality is implemented in the bootloader.
