hi guys, I'm looking for understand how to send a simple signal using the 802-15-04 between two nrf52840 boards.

The only available example use the uart in order to have the input signal to trasmitt but I need to have a pin interrupt on a gpio port that start trasmission in tx-board ,so in the rx one riceve only the pin-interrupt.

In which way can I set this using the given example???

Hi,

The 802.15.4 libraries in the SDK implements full PHY and MAC layer. If you want to send a simple message between two devices using IEEE802.15.4 radio mode, you can use our nRF-IEEE-802.15.4-radio-driver. Sample applications for transmit and receive can be found on the Wiki-page.

There is a Pin Change Interrupt example in our SDK that you can integrate with the application.

IEEE 802.15.4 is a standard for Low-Rate Wireless networks. It specifies the PHY and MAC layer, and it used as basis for multiple protocols (Thread, Zigbee, WirelessHART). You can find the specifications on their webpage.
