There are no examples for nRF51822 in nRF51_SDK_7.1

I have already installed nRF51_SDK_7.1.0_372d17a_packs. The examples in this SDK are only for nRF51422. Can I use these example in nRF51822 by just change device to nRF51822 and programe target memory aear?

Hi,

natively SDK 7.x.x supports our newest chips and boards (here you can read more about it: Lastest SD, SDK, and Hardware), but it is easy to migrate to other chips/boards. You have to change used device and port BSP. It is described in an SDK documentation: Using the SDK with other boards.
