Hello,
I use an nRF52840 that I program with Segger Embedded Studio. I am using J-Link driver version 6.44f.
When I want to connect to J-Link I get the following message:
" A new firmware verison is available for the connected emulator. Do you want to update to the latest firmware version ?
NOTE: Updating to the latest firmware version is strongly recommended.
New features / improvements may not be available without a firmware update "
If I choose to do the update, he tries to do it and this is what I get:
New firmware: J-Link OB-SAM3U128-V2-NordicSemi compiled Jan 7 2019 14:07:15
Current firmware: J-Link OB-SAM3U128-V2-NordicSemi compiled Nov 14 2016 16:58:29
Starting bootloader...
Waiting for emulator to detach... OK after 183ms.
Waiting for emulator to attach... OK after 312ms.
ERROR: Firmware update failed.
In addition, the system freezes completely and I have to close it and turn it back on again. I tried to put the new firmware version
I tried to put the new firmware version (available here: https://www.nordicsemi.com/Software-and-Tools/Development-Kits/nRF52-DK/Download#infotabs) by starting in bootloader mode, but I couldn't see my nRF52 at all after that (even via the USB port). I then put back an old version and this time I went back to the previous point with the same problems (can't update the firmware).
Do you have a solution for me?
Thank you in advance and best regards!
Maxime
