Audio Storage and Playback with nRF52810

Hi there! I am developing a device with the nRF52810 that requires the following:

1. Receive audio over BLE
2. Store audio in memory
3. Playback audio on command

Would it be possible with the nRF52810, or will i require an external audio IC driven by the nRF52810 with a DAC, Amplifier and storage unit?

Is BLE able to send over the audio file (from phone to device)?

We record audio input with a PDM microphone and then transmit it over BLE. We have a reference design for the nRF52832 and the nRF52810.

I have a MAX98357A breakout board that acts as my amplifier and DAC, how would I use the LRC, BCLK and DIN pins to send a sound through I2S to the speaker? Is there a library or driver to play sounds over I2S from external storage such as a SD Card?

Jeremysee: The nRF52810 does not have an I2S peripheral so if you want to interface the MAX98357A then you will have to use the nRF52832.

bjorn-spockeli is there any examples to build off on that explain the connections between the MAX98357A and the NRF52 DK? I am confused as to how to encode and send an audio signal through I2S to the amp.
