CryptoCell-310 status/replacement?

An ARM sales rep told me the CryptoCell-310 was discontinued and replaced by CryptoCell-312. Assuming this is true, what encryption module will nRF52840 be using in future shipments? Is it safe to assume the CryptoCell-312 will be used on nRF52840 moving forward, or will some other encryption engine be used in its place? I find it hard to believe CC310 will be available in sustainable quantities for too long if ARM is no longer producing it.

Hi,

The 310 is an IP from ARM that it's designed-in on the nRF52840, even if ARM have designed and launched a new cryptocell in the 300-family since then, there is no plans to replace it in hardware on the nRF52840 no.
