what is the different between BLE and Radio?

Hi, I am still confused by BLE(bluetooth low energy) and Radio. Both of them transmit data by radio according to bluetooth protocol. Is it mean that Radio does not belong to low energy?

Radio is the hardware that transmits the Bluetooth massages. And the radio does not. have to specificly send ble messages. Ble is only a protocol. You van send Any messages you want using the radio with different frequenties, messages size etc... The ble stack only uses the radio to send its ble messages.
