nRF9160-DK: How to use nRFgo Studio and nRF Connect - Bluetooth Low Energy

Dears,

I have nRF9160-DK and nRF51-DK(PCA10028).

I have used nRFgo Studio with nRF51-DK(PCA10028) to firmware download.

And I have used nRF Connect - Bluetooth Low Energy with nRF51-DK(PCA10028) for BLE Scanner.

- It is very convenient automatic firmware downloading scanner firmware when nRF Connect and nRF51-DK(PCA10028) are connected.

However, nRF9160-DK is not works with nRF Connect - Bluetooth Low Energy.

Also, nRFgo Sutdio couldn't detect nRF9160-DK. 

Please let me know is there any guide or documents.

    Hello Junesung,

    We don't have a plan to upgrade nrfgo studio.

    so it doesn't support latest ICs anymore.

    You can use nRF programmer instead which is in-app of "nRF connect for desktop".

    For nRF52840 firmware download, you would read this page.

    Actually there are 2 different ICs on nRF9160-DK. 

    To use each IC you need to change the switch(SW5) to proper direction.
