Issues with Bluetooth connectivity and application speed for some phones

We developed device based on nrf52840 and android app based on nrf uart v2.0. The application runs very slow in google pixel 2xl., oneplus3 etc thich are updated to latest android OS.Connecting the bluetooth itself takes 20 to 30 seconds. What could be the issue? We have no clue where to debug to. Some phone running the same android version(Mi A1) is working smoothly. Can someone shed some light?

You need to debug and instrument both ends - Android and nRF - to see where the problem(s)/bottleneck(s) is/are:

We've tested with a bunch of phones and only the google pixel 2xl is having the issue. Even the nrf uart v2 application is having the issue
