nrf52 Development Kit AoA Direction Finding support

Hello,

I have several nrf52 Development Kits which will be used for creating a Bluetooth mesh network. They sport the NRF52832 SoC.

Do they have, or will ever have, support for Bluetooth 5.1 Direction Finding methods such as AoA and AoD?

If else, what other Development Kits have support for that technology?

Hi Guillermo

The nRF52832 DK will not support direction finding.

The nRF52840 DK will be able to emulate the nRF52811, and can be used as a starting point for development, but this won't support direction finding either. You can read more about development for the nRF52811 on the Infocenter.

The short answer is: We don't have a development kit that supports direction finding.
