nrf52 Development Kit AoA Direction Finding support

Hello,

I have several nrf52 Development Kits which will be used for creating a Bluetooth mesh network. They sport the NRF52832 SoC.

Do they have, or will ever have, support for Bluetooth 5.1 Direction Finding methods such as AoA and AoD?

If else, what other Development Kits have support for that technology?

The situation has changed slightly. We've released the nRF52833 DK, which does support direction finding, but it does not have the necessary antenna array, which will have to be obtained some other way. There are multiple arrays like this in development, but none available publicly yet AFAIK.

Thanks Simon. That could be helpful. Is there an SDK to go with this or would we have to put one together ourselves. I notice that other manufacturers are supplying antenna arrays to demo their products such as TI...

Regarding the antenna array you have posted, I would assume that it would work alongside the DK, but I can't guarantee anything, as I'm not familiar with TI's antenna array. We also have an antenna array solution in development, and for information/a timeline on this, you can contact the regional sales manager (RSM) of your area.
