nRF Connect can't see nRF52 DK

I have the nRF52 DK board and I cannot see the device in the list in the nRF Connect app (iOS). Here's what I have tried:

Connected the nRF52 DK to my computer with micro-usb. Used Keil 5 to load the ble_beacon app. Used nRFgo Studio to load the S132 Hex. The blinky app works, but I cannot see the bluetooth device when I scan in nRF Connect. What am I doing wrong?

Hi, 

Please make sure you flash the softdevice before you flash the application. 

Please open RTT log and check if you see any logging. There is a debug guide here. 

Please clarify which exact example you tested. Did you test with ble_app_beacon example ? We would suggest you to test with ble_app_hrs and follow the getting started guide.

Here's what I did:

* Erase all

* flashed softdevice with s132_nrf52_6.1.1_softedevice.hex

* In nRFgo studio, programmed application: Desktop/nRF5_SDK_15.3.0_59ac345/nRF5_SDK_15.3.0_59ac345/examples/ble_peripheral/ble_app_beacon/pca10040/s132/arm5_no_packs/_build/nrf52832_xxaa.hex. Programming was successful, but cannot see device.

What I am I missing?
